General Information

Copyright issues are something I never really worried about, but in the last couple of weeks I've been asked about the copyright status of this website. I also have found a page copied in entire on another website that is still pulling my .css and containing my typos. I reserve my copyrights, whatever they may be, beyond what I touch on below. Copyright exists whether there is a public 'notice' of it or not.

Copyright

All Timeline pages and their content, besides forums postings by persons other than myself, and the cyclopedia articles, which are 'open content' are copyright David Miller. The original Timelines started in 1998 as a 1920s timeline and evolved in look and scope since then.

Historic facts can not be copyrighted, but an interpretation or presentation can. Certain parts and pieces can be copied for whatever personal use you may desire. Complete pages cannot be republished. Honestly, if you need to steal a webpage design, you can do much better than mine.

Bibliography

Bibliography information David Miller Author/edtitor and publishing is from 1998 till present.

Timelines Sources

The Timelines is considered a tetrary resource. It is derived from a variety of primary, original documents; secondary, interpretation of primary sources; and other tetrary sources, Interpretation of interpretations and overview / synopsis of other tetrary and secondary works.

This means it is good enough to find things out with reasonable accuracy, but it is not as good for hard research beyond getting a general overlook of historical events. All extant internet sources used on Din Timelines are kept at Din Resgestae. This is not a true bibliography of sources since it does not conatin publishing information. It is only presented as a way to continue more serious research into particular subjects found on Din Timelines.
